Overview

The national Trans reliability trials are designed as training rides to test mind, body and equipment ahead of the summer ultras such as the Transcontinental.  They are held on first full weekend of the month from April to June each year.  They are predominantly road based but some riders may take gravel shortcuts as they are free to choose their route between the checkpoints.  The distances and complexity of the route planning steps up each month. Only seven people in the history of TRC have completed TransEngland, TransWales, and TransScotland in a season.

The national XDURO bikepacking trials are held on first full weekend of the month from May to September each year.  These are fixed route gravel rides; EnglanDURO is a nice intro to bikepacking, WalesDURO is beautiful, and ScotDURO is pretty full on.

In addition we have a growing number of one-day XDURO rides which serve as tasters for the longer trials.
It is important we can trace riders on Reliability Trials easily - please complete the form above ahead of your first ride of the year.  Only riders who have registered will appear in the results. This single form covers all our standard reliability trials. Select the ones you are committed to riding; you will be sent an automated email after completing this form which will enable you to edit choices at a later date.
