Overview

​TransEngland occurs on the first full weekend in April​​ each year.

​​Key points:
  • The route is from Morecambe to Scarborough: ~270km long with ~5,000m of ascent taking in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors.
  • The trial consists of a start point, 6 checkpoints, and an end point.  You choose the route passing through these checkpoints.
  • Post a timestamped photo on Instagram at the start, at each checkpoint, and at the finish tagging @theracingcollective and using the event hashtag. See the 'Trans' Rules for more.
  • In addition to your standard checks when planning your route, use Open Road to check for potential route hazards to avoid
