"Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted" John Lennon
2 day self-supported bikepacking mixed surface ride... 300km from the Beetles statue in Liverpool to the lighthouse at Scarborough.
The route uses greenway, canal, former railways and ancient packhorse routes. Just 2085m climbing, you'll ride though the inner solar system, over the Howardian Hills and through one of the north's largest wetland nature reserves. Take a journey through Liverpool and Manchester's industrial heritage and ride out the other side to a Pennine summit with views all the way to York.
Excellent train links make it an easy one to access but don't forget to book your bike 24 hours in advance.
